The service

CVSheet lets you write a CV, resume or cover letter and download it as a PDF. You can use it with or without an account.

It costs nothing

Every template and every download is free, with no trial and no paywall. We may one day charge for something new, but anything free today stays free, and we will never hold a document you already wrote to ransom.

Your content is yours

You keep every right to what you write and upload. You give us only the permission needed to run the service: to store your documents, show them back to you, and render them into a PDF. We do not publish or sell them.

You are responsible for what you write being true and for having the right to upload it, including any photo.

Your account

Keep your password to yourself; anything done from your account is treated as done by you. Tell us if you think someone else has got in. Accounts are for people, not for bots.

Fair use

Please do not break into, overload or scrape the service, work around its limits, upload anything unlawful or anyone else’s personal data without their say-so, or use it to deceive. We may suspend or delete an account that does.

The site itself

The templates, designs, code, name and logo belong to CVSheet. Using a template for your own CV is exactly what it is for; republishing our templates or designs as your own product is not.

No warranty, limited liability

The service is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will always be available, or that a CV written with it will get you the job. Keep your own copy of anything important: export the PDF.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost data, lost opportunities or other indirect damage arising from your use of the service. Since CVSheet is free, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us, which is nothing.

Ending it

You may stop at any time and delete your account from the account page. We may suspend or end access if these terms are broken, or if we shut the service down — in which case we will give notice in the app so you can export your work.

Changes and contact

We may update these terms; the date at the top says when they last changed, and continuing to use the service means you accept the new version. Anything unclear here: [email protected].
